We had to calm Karina down, promising that we won’t do anything without her permission. We told her, “We won’t separate you from your brother!”. But she didn’t hear or didn’t believe, I don’t know. Svyat (short for Svyatoslav) also needed time to think. The siblings talked it over behind the door and decided to give it a try. They have been dreaming of a family all these years in the boarding school. And the most important thing for them is to stay together. Personally I like such thoughtful approach and such devotion to each other.
Svyat dreams of the Suvorov Military College, about the career of an officer. And he not only dreams but prepares himself for this path. At the same time everybody in the boarding school knows Svyat as a talented person. He plays the guitar, dances. He even took part in the festival “Believe in Yourself” where he presented a dance! And also this boy – you won’t believe it – likes sewing and doing embroidery. Among the boy’s occupations woodwork is his favorite. And I should say, almost everything he does he does in an excellent way. Of course he is famous at the school. Sometimes he needs to be on his own and all the teachers who know about this trait of his give him the keys from an empty room. Svyatoslav is very responsible and is also a good elder brother.
Unlike her brother Karina enjoys sport, basketball and athletics in particular. She is one of the best in the sports team of the boarding school. “Karina is a tomboy”, Svyat says. She is strong and that’s why she can always protect herself if the need arises. She also protects her girlfriends if anybody bothers them. Of course she likes girly games too but running and playing in the yard is more to her liking.
Svyat supervises his sister’s behavior. He can remind her to do hair, gives advice on the clothes choice and their match for Karina to look beautiful and neat. Svyatoslav has a very good taste and tries to cultivate feminine manners in her, teaches to look after herself… He doesn’t impose, no! He just helps her to find her own feminine style, to develop communication skills, be nice to talk to. In my childhood I was dreaming about such an elder brother that I never had.
