Waiting is the worst. Especially when there is no time to lose. Especially when it is connected with the decision of treatment of your own child.
Irina, Bogdan’s mother, has corresponded with German doctors, clinics and funds for the last long and painful weeks. The aim of the correspondence was the diagnostics of her son’s disease. The boy has had a neoplasm. He was operated on and now it is necessary to find out whether the neoplasm has been malignant. It is necessary to start undergoing the treatment.
A German clinic can carry out the diagnostics. A biopsy can be conducted in order to find out a type of tumor and start providing the treatment. 7,392 euro (9,579 US dollars) is the price of the diagnostics and of the beginning of the treatment. A German fund agreed to donate 4,000 euro. 3,392 euro is the missing sum that is extremely large for Irina, who’s a single mom, works as a nurse and lives in a dormitory... They also need approximately 6,000 hryvnas (around 731 US dollars) for the fare to the clinic and back.
Irina and Bogdan won't be able to cope with it by themselves. And there is no time to lose. Irina is asking you, our kind donors, for help: please, help in raising 35 939 hryvnas (4,384 US dollars) for the medical treatment + 6000 hryvnas (731 US dollars ) for the fare. The boy’s situation is rather ambiguous: a paucity of the material available after the operation makes it difficult for the diagnosing. That is why a consultation in a specialized German clinic is needed.
Little Bogdan is a second-grade pupil. He has only a vague idea of what is happening to him. The boy only sees that his mother has been very upset lately, hiding her tearful eyes. Irina is very worried about the health of her dearest person… We’re asking you to support this little family, mother and her son. They don’t have initiative and strong relatives able to help them in a difficult situation; they don’t have rich and influential friends; there is nothing to sell and nobody to borrow the money from. Please, support them!
