The child found a family: Olga P, born in 2006

September 30, 2013, 10:30 5693 Author: Maria Semashkina, translated by Daria Sukach www.deti.zp.ua Olya is in a new loving family

It is not easy to make friends when you spend most of your time in a wheelchair. However, you can still stretch out your hand and reach your mate or someone you can chat with. This idea must cross Olga’s mind pretty often. That is why she can reach her roommate’s bed while being in bed herself. When she is in the playroom she always gets in touch with children around.

This picture looks like a fairy tale with a happy ending where a happy loving couple finally gets married. These children you can see on this photo do not fight over a toy, they just play THIS WAY. They also smile when they are stronger than their friends. It is not the matter of the lack of toys since there is a real heap of them around. It’s just fun not only to walk along hand in hand but even lie on the floor and listen to children’s songs together.

Olga is a real little princess. She never misses a chance to show her supremacy over the boys and demonstrate her character to adults. When Olga is in a good mood she smiles and holds your hand but whenever something drives her mad she will weep and ignore even very persistent people.

Olga learnt to take toys. She allows me to play with her for a while. I tried to take her rag doll away which, at first, made the girl smile and later she just found another toy to play with.

As soon as I put the doll aside – Olga took it back into her arms and even tried to speak with it in her own way with sounds.

Olga always smiles and it seems that her big brown eyes look through your soul. Her sincere look melts your heart. There is always a silent question in an orphan’s eyes that a grown-up person should have an answer to – so these brown eyes would always smile.

If you are interested in adopting Olga, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56 and to tell them the number of Olga's profile accordingly to the orphan list # 0092574.
