Kristina K., born in 2005

September 15, 2014, 12:05 5301 Author: Anastasia Pisareva, translated by Yevheniya Devyatkova www.deti.zp.ua

At first Kristina took her time to look around. It was clear that the girl was a little bit afraid of the new guests. But she got comfortable surprisingly fast. And when she was given a ball, all the shiness was swept away. It turned out that the ball was her favourite object in the rehabilitation room. She visits that room often, because she is a child with special needs.

Kristina is very tidy and can attend to herself. But, because of her age, she still needs constant attention.

The girl is very lively and likes walking outdoors.

The camera raised Kristina’s curiosity and a big explosion of emotions. Kristina even started to talk to us in her own language. We could understand her gestures and movements pretty well.

If you are interested in adopting Kristina, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56 quoting Kristina’s Profile Number 0060434.

Other children who dream of finding a family

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
