Lyana is a quiet girl with an unusual name and sweet appearance. She loves tabby cats and dreams of a couple of these pets when she has her own home.

Lyana is a fourth-grade student. Her favourite school subjects are math and the Ukrainian language. The girl is keen on drawing. Her pictures have won prizes in several art competitions.

Lyanas main hobby is knitting. The girls teacher has taught her to crochet and knit. Lyana likes knitting various toys. Lyana showed us some of her handmade toys, among them were a doll, a little mouse and fish. They were skillfully made and looked decent. Lyana also likes reading. However, she doesnt have her favourite book yet.

Lyana has many girlfriends she likes to spend her free time with. The educator says that Lyana is one of the first helpers in the group. She is a very responsible girl and is always ready to do an errand. Lyana is always quick to help and share everything with her friend.

Lyana believes that sheer happiness is a family who gets along well with each other. She dreams of a family where everyone understands, loves, respects and supports each other.

If you are interested in adopting Lyana, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Childrens Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56 and to tell them the number of Lyana's profile accordingly to the orphan list # 0196652.

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
