A Child Has a Family: Georgiy T., born in 2002

June 24, 2015, 17:10 2625 Author: Daria Sukach www.deti.zp.ua Georgiy was adopted!

Such children like Georgiy are often gently called “sunny” and it’s no wonder! This boy is able to melt anyone’s heart. His face often radiates with a smile. Despite his peculiarities with development the boy is very communicative and loves touching and hugging. Georgiy’s teachers say that “If you hug him once, he’ll be cuddling you all day long”.

Georgiy enjoyes playing with other kids. However his main passion is dancing through which he expresses his feelings. The teenager once took part in “Let’s make the culture available for orphans” where he was awarded a diploma for an excellent performance of the modern dance. During our meeting Georgiy demonstrated his drawings as well as tried to amaze us with his acrobatic skills.

We believe that one day life will also smile on Georgiy and will present him a loving mom and dad for whom this boy will become a real son!

If you are interested in adopting this child or other children, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56.

Other children who dream of finding a family

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
