Twelve years ago British couple Pat and Len Joy sold their house in Essex to set up Children's Joy - an orphanage looking after Ukrainian children.

The conflict in the east of the country has displaced more than 1.3m people and there are over 90,000 orphans living in foster homes.

Over the past year Pat and Len have began to help the army and even given refuge to a couple, Bob from Britain and his Ukrainian wife Tatiyana, when they fled Crimea after Russia annexation.
