Our first charity trip to rural oprhanages of Zaporozhye area was successfull, so we plan the next trip March 3 or 10, 2007. You can see photo report about our first "From heart to heart" trip

Now our volunteer's group plans trip to the 3 orphanages of Zaporozhye region:

- Kirovo village (about 100 orphan girls with deep mentally retardness);

- Chernigovka village orphanage (265 orphans, 120 km from Zaporozhye);

- Kalinovka village orphanage for disabled children in (153 children, Chernigovka rayon of Zaporozhye oblast).

These orphanages, on our opinion, receive too low attention, because it's far from Zaporozhye, and many children in it are sick, so no adoptive parents, no gifts...

The possible date of the trip - March 3 or 10. The code name of the trip - "From heart to heart-2".

The goals of this project are:

1) To find more info about orphanage's life in villages of Zaporozhye region, make webpages for these orphanages. Such far orphanages received a very small attention from sponsors. We want to change this situation.

2) To give some gifts to orphans (mostly for mentall and physical development)

3) To attract attention of local people there for orphans problem (using newpapers)

4) To invite clowns, singers to our trip, to play and communicate with orphans there, make children to laugh and enjoy life at the day of our visit.

We already have about $500 for this trip, and of course, we don't want to go without gifts. So any your help is greatly appreciated.

We will try to save money as much as possible (may be we will have small truck for free).

These ophanages need:

1) Sports inventory (balls, tennis)

2) Meccanos (like geomag, Lego), toys, toy cars, games for development.

3) Some candy, cookies, sweet

4) May be computers, audio, music centers, DVD, TV sets

5) Electric teapots for each group

6) New good books with pictures

7) Writing materials

You can choose, of course, for what purpose to donate.

All sponsors will be provided by full financial and photo report.

p.s:

we will try to make this trip on March 3, before International Women Day (big holiday for women in Ukraine). So, our visit can be very actual for orphan girls in these villages.
