Elvira has two siblings a brother Danil (born 2005) and a sister Diana (born 2008).

Elya is a little introvert, who loves to draw and look at childrens books. She can easily flip through a book, find a picture of a kitten or puppy and imitate the sounds they make.

Elvira is able to eat from a spoon. Her greatest joy is to play alone. She is serious she rarely smiles and is neither a very active nor mobile child. She prefers to play alone or interact with some adults, but not all. She is not very communicative because she is shy and we hope that she will grow out of this. Her caretakers say that she is a responsive child she understands and pays attention to what she is told. For example, she shows how to collect and put away her toys.

If you are interested in adopting Ivan, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Childrens Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56.

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
