Основные обязанности:
- координация оказания помощи интернатам Запорожской области для детей и взрослых с инвалидностью (поездки по интернатам, уточнение потребностей и нужд этих заведений, привлечение волонтёров, взаимодействие с руководством и сотрудниками интернатов);
- обобщение нужд интернатов, составление сметы затрат для представления жертвователям;
- постоянное взаимодействие с жертвователями (в основном иностранными): ведение переписки и телефонных переговоров;
- подготовка отчетности;
- написание статей и тематических материалов на сайте Фонда deti.zp.ua (в том числе, на английском языке);
Требования к кандидату:
- знание английского языка на уровне Intermediate и выше;
- умение грамотно излагать свои мысли устно и письменно;
- навыки менеджмента, управления людьми и проектами.

Program Manager in Zaporizhzhia
Location: Based in Zaporizhzhia with short-term trips around the region.
SUMMARY
The Project Manager will be directly responsible for smooth and timely implementation of the Maya’s Hope’s projects in Zaporizhzhia region, following the list of ongoing tasks. This will include program planning, staff management, monitoring and evaluation, timely reporting, finance management. The Project Manager will closely cooperate with the Maya’s Hope CEO, Country Manager, In-Country Liaison Officer and main partner in Ukraine - Happy Child Charity Foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring, control and reporting of the medicine, sanitation, health rehabilitation at the orphanages.
- Recruitment and selection, employment, training, tracking working hours, dismissals, reports/assessments within the Caregivers Program of Maya’s Hope.
- Protecting children’s Rights.
- Improvement of Living Conditions and development of material resources.
- Fundraising and engagement with donors.
- Facilitating family placement for the children, data collection (creating photo and video profiles, publishing promotional materials about specific children).
- Cooperation with the management of boarding schools and the regional authorities.
- Reporting to Maya’s Hope Board.
- Providing administrative and logistics support.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Preferably university degree in relevant subject area such as communication for development, communication studies, public information, social sciences.
- At least 1 year experience in project management and in relevant area.
- Care about kids with special needs and at least basic understanding of their needs and ways to improve their lives
- Willingness to do both administrative work as well as project development work
- Flexibility and being solution-oriented, not afraid of being things done.
- Very cooperative.
- Willingness to travel for short time (one day) visits to the orphanages around the region.
- Fluent in English and Ukrainian/Russian is a must
Maya’s Hope offers:
- A 3-month contract, renewable for a year, dependent on performance.
