A child needs a family: Ivan K, born in 1995

April 14, 2011, 21:00 2740 Author: www.deti.zp.ua www.deti.zp.ua Ivan finished school

He had to prepare to perform a waltz. It appeared Vanya didn’t have a special talent for dancing: he had never danced a waltz and the stage made him shy but he was ready to try: he had to rescue the situation. The concert should be organized anyway but it happened that there were no boy dancers either in his or in the parallel class.

That is Vanya, indeed: kind, simple and open. He takes care about younger children and is always glad to help anyyone who needs his help. Ivan tries to master different crafts with pleasure. And it’s not only “for future benefit” – he really likes this. He has already decided upon his future profession: Ivan wants to become a cook; to transform foodstuff into tasty dishes is to his liking.

The boy is modest and treats himself critically. But to say the truth, his weaknesses do not cause anyone any large troubles. “It happens I chatter at the lessons” – the boy confesses confusedly.

What else is there I haven’t said about? Vanya likes to read, especially science fiction. He was one of the few able to name the book he was reading: “Ignoramus on the Moon” and even started to retell me the story with enthusiasm. I amused myself a little: not long ago my quite grown-up friends had read the book.

Vanya has sister Vika (born 1998). Also, in another boarding school they have a younger brother Lyosha (born 2007). Vanya dreams about a family. Well, yes, he is not a small child any more. But not long ago one of his classmates was adopted. Maybe Vanya will be lucky as well?

If you are interested in adopting Ivan or other children, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians and foster parents; you can also contact Service of children’s affairs of the Zaporozhye state administration by the telephone (061) 239-01-56

Other children who dream of finding a family.

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children from the boarding school (orphanage) through your organizational or financial support of excursions and trips for the children; you can also visit children in the orphanage or help in purchases of development toys, construction sets, books and sport equipment.
