A child has a family: Aleksandr P, born in 1999

Sasha was adopted.

Sasha is completing his fifth grade of the secondary school. He is an ordinary boy: he likes sport games, draws vehicles and planes with enthusiasm. Sasha is dreaming of riding a bike. He has even learned this skill but there is not a single bike in his boarding school. That is why he can only envy those children who merrily pedal by beyond the boarding school’s territory.

Sometimes he likes to work and sometimes he doesn’t. It happens Sasha makes every effort to study well but sometimes he lacks self-discipline. After his trip to the US the boy has become interested in languages – German that is taught in his school, English… He simply understood the use of the school lessons and inspiration came to him at once. With the other subjects the situation is not that good yet.

I think when Sasha finds a family that will become his own, his mom and dad will be able to show him new horizons; to explain to him why studying is so important and to awake interests in him. I am sure this task is within your abilities.

If you are interested in adopting Sasha or other children, please read the memo for potential adoptive parents, guardians and foster parents; you can also contact Service of children’s affairs of the Zaporozhye state administration by the telephone (061) 239-01-56 and to request the Aleksandr's profile № 0057934

Other children who dream of finding a family

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children from the boarding school (orphanage) through your organizational or financial support of excursions and trips for the children; you can also visit children in the orphanage or help in purchases of development toys, construction sets, books and sport equipment.
