How to donate money to sick children

Looking at smiling Danya - such small and defenseless, I have remembered Biblical story about Daniel - a young man, who went out of the fiery stove unharmed. The same impression of a victor makes Danechka Gavryushenko. He in his 8 months could undergo the surgery on a huge adrenal tumor, which length was 12 centimeters, removal that lasted for many hours. Looking at this fragile creature it is hard to imagine how a tumor of such size could find room in the baby. And now Danya is smiling with his toothless mouth and stretching out his hands to me. Perhaps, the baby thinks, that the most terrible is far behind and he will soon return to his father and sister. Danya isn't aware of the fact that during the surgery the doctors discovered a horrible thing - the tumor gave metastases to his liver and to the other adrenal. The doctors removed everything they could but post-surgery tomogram showed that what they removed not everything. And now Danya is in for chemotherapy... This baby will have to undergo not one course of the painful toxic treatment. He will spend not one month at the hospital. He will have a long fight for his life...

Certainly, Danilka isn't aware of this. Nor does he realize, why he is stabbed with stitches and then is forbidden to turn round in his be, talking about some droppers. But there's such a desire to put a toe in mouth, to pull the dropper, to get to know the world every minute. When his mother again stops his half-formed intentions, Danilka breathes heavily and noisily through his nose showing that he is offended. And you can read his looks as "But only yesterday everything was fine, only yesterday I could do it!" How could you explain to this baby that "yesterday" is in the past and now he has different life - hospitals, droppers, injections, medicines, and fight for life???

But when the dropper is empty, Danya turns into a curios, smiling baby again. He explores the department with his mother, giving everyone he meets a friendly smile. This baby believe that all people around are kind and responsive, that he - such a small and charming is loved by everyone. That's why he is stretching out his small hands to everyone...Let's lend a helping hand to this baby!!!
