One more child has left the orphanage and is getting used to a family life. Serhey has also left his motherland but his new family is much more important to him. We’re happy for Serhey!
Serhey smiles sunnily. He lives in a world where mutual things mean much more than individual. Things come from out of nowhere and the same vanish in an unknown direction. Serhey’s future parents haven’t come yet somehow.
He has a younger brother. Or it’s better to say he had one since Andrey was adopted and taken away. And Serhey has no option but to hope for his own happy day.
Serhey is calm and a little bit sedentary. His hobbies reflect his calm nature: he prefers such calms activities as to play with toy cars, embroider and reading books. Yes, this boy is really fond of reading fairy tales.
Yet, he likes running around the school as we saw it. Serhey told us how he loves swimming in the river and the sea. Sometimes he fights with the boys. He’s just a normal kid. Serhey has a big dream of becoming a bus driver. He wants to deal with real big cars instead of toy ones and help people to get where they want to!
His favourite cartoon is “Chip’n Dale: Rescue Rangers”. Perhaps one of you would like to be rescue rangers for Serhey and give him the family warmth and welcome him into their home and hearts?
If you are interested in adopting Serhey, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56. Request the Profile Number of Serhey accordingly to the orphan list #0060108.
Other children who dream of finding a family
If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
