What is she like? She is a little shy, neat and organized girl – one can notice these things immediately.
However, not long ago she surprised her teachers. The boarding school had a fundraiser fair: children made and sold various crafts. Irina did not shy away from “customers”, and instead seemed to enjoy being in the role of a sales person: expertly showing and explaining the crafts, trying to understand what people wanted and recommend something they would truly enjoy. She also kept good track of all records, her transactions added up perfectly at the end of the day.
Irina is a talented dancer and actively participates in the school’s dance group rehearsals and shows. Recently, she started singing lessons. She is also a good conversationalist – she listens well, and talks about topics that interest not only her, but other people as well.
If you are interested in adopting Darina, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56. Request the Profile Number of Irina accordingly to the orphan list #0058296.
Other children who dream of finding a family
If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
