=====================================
"It is never too late to fight for what is important to you!" Everyone perceives that most important thing in his own way. Some fight to be loved, some to get attention, some put every effort to further a career, while others – like Konstantin – have a fight of their life ... for their life. This fifteen-year old active, kind, and caring boy was recently given a frightful diagnosis – osteosarcoma, a bone cancer, at the bottom third of his right thigh. Despite this, he stands tall and strong, like a real man. Very responsibly, Konstantin follows every recommendation of the attending physicians, because he knows that his life has just begun. And this is just another trial of fate, and he must pass this test.
It all happened suddenly, as in a nightmare. After a training session, our young hero felt aching sensation in the knee that was gradually intensifying. When it was no longer possible to endure the pain, Konstantin went to the doctors. After a thorough examination, Konstantin was given a shocking diagnosis: osteosarcoma.
Doctors prescribed 10 rounds of chemotherapy, upon enduring which the young man will be ready for the surgery to remove the tumor. One round of chemotherapy has now been completed, and will be repeated in 21 days. In order to support the boy’s body during and between the rounds of chemotherapy, the doctors also prescribed antiemetic, antifungal and anti-inflammatory drugs, for which the state budged does not allocate sufficient funds.
Tatiana, Konstantin’s mom, has no one to rely on for financial support. Friends have been helping as much as they possibly can, ex-husband also has lent a hand, but these are pennies compared to the sums of money that Tatiana has to spend daily. Currently, 100-300 hryvnyas (12 – 37 US dollars) are spend daily on medications that accompany the chemotherapy regiment, an enormous amount for a mother with a son...
Konstantin’s mom and he himself would like to ask you, dear donors, for help!
The family lives in the Zaporozhye region, Veselovsky district
