Vlad is one of the most challenged of all my wards. He is only six years old, but during that time he has repeatedly been on the verge of life and death. Vlad is an example of determination demonstrating his love for life and resilience as a true fighter. Our little man knows the value of life, that's why, when he grows up, he wants to save the lives of others!
Natalia, Vlad’s mother appeals to you:
“Meet my son Vlad who is kind, sympathetic, and the most wonderful boy! His most cherished dream is to become a firefighter-rescuer. Vlad wants to put out fires and rescue cats from trees.
During his 6 years, my son has survived many challenges that adults might not have had the strength to endure. Vlad had a complicated bowel surgery early in his life where the doctor’s had to remove 20 cm of his intestine, but he heroically endured. At 4 years old, he experienced a ruptured lung and air was trapped under the skin. He remained in intensive care for 10 days with a tracheal tracheostomy. Only with God's help and the care of the doctors was he able to survive!
Despite all of the troubles he has faced, we continue to believe in miracles! Vlad is very curious, loves to ride a bike, to build with Legos, and do puzzles. Now he is preparing for a big event in his life - the school hike in September with the first class!
It is very difficult to raise a child alone, but it is even more stressful when you feel you are literally working in a pharmacy … always trying to obtain the needed supplies. The child's father does not help,so I must rely on myself. This is our story ... If you have the opportunity, please help my little son breathe and live a normal life!"
I need $1,120 every month to purchase the expensive drugs Vlad needs. His daily regimen includes: Pulmozyme, Flomax, Ursofalk, ACC, Sumamed, Hofitol, Cardonat, Ambrobene, Pulmicort, Essentiale, and multivitamins.
