Four kids will be adopted by the citizens of Zaporozhye, and one of this kids - by the foreigners. Galina Galkina, the Director of Zaporozhye regional Orphan Home “Solnyshko” told about it to "Reporter UA".

According to Galina Galkina, one third of all adopted children are taken by foreigners, and two thirds find their parents in our country. It is no secret that small children have much more chances to be adopted then teenagers. Adoptive parents want the baby to perceive them as full.

“Most of parents, near 80 percent, want to take to their families quite babies under three years”, said the Director of Zaporozhye Regional Orphan Home.

According to the employees of the Orphan Home, parents are afraid to admit to their families sick children. Even, if the disease is quite slight and easy curable. Sometimes the prospective parents can be repelled from the kid by his stutter, slight squint or even birthmark.

Now there are 250 children in the Orphan Home “Solnyshko”
