Nevertheless he soon followed the cameraman everywhere, trying to justify himself by assuring us that he’d really like to live in a family.
Serhey felt sorry about his sore throat. If it were not for his cold, he would definitely sing for us. This young man took part in different song competitions such as “Barvinok” (“Periwinkle”) and “Schaslyvi doloni” (“Happy palms”). His participation resulted in several awards. There’s no wonder that Serhey is considered to be the golden voice of the orphanage school.
He likes travelling. The memories of mountain hiking tour around the Crimea still warm his heart. The boy also visited such well-known children’s resorts like “Artek” and “Molodaya gvardiya”.
The teachers characterize Serhey as a very active and disciplined pupil. Being an 8th grade pupil he has been his class monitor since the fifth grade. Their school garden is one of the best ones. The beautiful flowers you can see there are the result of Serhey’s hard work.
This young man is very responsible and polite. After the school classes he helps out the elderly people who live nearby with their gardens. One could entrust Serhey with any tasks. If he cannot fulfill some things on his own, he organizes his classmates around to help him.
