News and Needs of the Happy Home-3

July 21, 2015, 13:00 2335 Author: President of Happy Child foundation: Albert Pavlov deti.zp.ua Fourteen inner doors are to be installed in the Happy Home-3 for orphans; besides, money is needed to pay for the facade and interior works

Happy Home-3, which is being built in the village of Ukrainka in the Mykhailivka district thanks to your support, requires some final steps before it can open its doors to orphans.

The facade works are almost completed, the heating system is installed and put into operation, and water supply system is 80% ready. As of today, the most vital need is to install 14 inner doors. It will allow making renovations in some of the rooms for them to welcome their new residents.

Besides, funds are needed to pay for the tile works in the kitchen and in water closets, for wallpapering, installing laminate flooring and cementing the yard. Maybe we can find volunteers who would be willing to do this work free of charge or for a token fee. At the same time, it is vital that the quality of work is to be supreme.

For the home to start its operation, we urgently need furniture (beds, tables, chairs, wardrobes, etc.), a refrigerator, a washing machine, household appliances and computer equipment, lights.

Thanks to your volunteer efforts and financial support, we already have two functioning Happy Homes which give shelter to 18 orphans. We believe that our joint efforts will help us open the Happy Home-3 for children in the nearest months!
