Kamila Muratova: clinic news

For many years, we dreamed that the charitable foundation "Happy Child" and our tourist project "Klubok" would have their own base near the Carpathians. We wanted children and families from Zaporizhzhia region and other areas to be able to relax in nature, see the mountains, and explore the interesting places of Bukovina and Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Finally, we were granted use, with the right of future purchase, of a house in the foothills of the Carpathians — in the village of Novi Broskivtsi, in a picturesque location among meadows and forests. On one hand, it is not far from Chernivtsi (28 km), and on the other — within half an hour to an hour you can reach the Bukovinian Carpathians (Mihovo–Vyzhnytsia area). Staying at the base in summer, one can go to Zarosliak and climb Hoverla in a single day. But the main thing — from the house itself, located at an altitude of 400 m, children can start interesting and easy trips through the local forests and hills. One can reach Chernivtsi via Mount Tsetsy. Summer camps can also be held on the clearing near the house. And families can simply rest for a few days in the quiet of the forest.

Currently, we are planning preparatory work and purchasing some items so that the house can host its first guests starting May 2026. This requires equipping a bathroom, bringing water from a well, doing cosmetic repairs, and updating the electricity. The house has two wood stoves, which are very relevant at present. We also plan to assemble six sturdy bunk beds. Initially, the house can accommodate up to 12 people, and in summer we can host a tent camp for up to 30 people (some guests will stay in tents). In the future, we plan to build 2–3 more rooms behind the house to accommodate 20–25 people.

Who the "Klubok" house will serve after opening:

Primarily — children from Zaporizhzhia and the region. These can be either organized children's groups, for which we will provide a program, or families. The main criterion is children in difficult financial or life circumstances: IDPs, children of military personnel, large and foster families, single parents, parents with disabilities, and other categories. These are children and families who need a break from shelling in a quiet natural setting. We will try to cover all costs of such visits.

Between children's visits and summer camps, we are ready to host individual families from frontline areas or other eligible categories. The main criteria are honesty, tidiness, and responsible use of shared property and territory, with proper behavior without causing problems for neighbors. Families should write to us about themselves and agree on dates. Such families can use the house and property for free but must cover their own food, transport, electricity, and gas costs, and leave the house in a tidy condition.

We plan to operate the house from May to October, but in the future winter stays may also be possible.

Currently, I am asking for your help with the repair and setup of the house. Below is a list of items, materials, and financial expenses. You can help with donations, labor, or by providing necessary items.

Needs:

bunk beds — 6 units and 12 mattresses (approx. size 70?190);

bedding in good condition, blankets, and pillows;

gas stove in working condition with 2 or 4 burners, cylinder for household gas;

electric kettle and hotplate;

kitchen utensils (pots, pans, knives, spoons, forks);

refrigerator;

bathtub and toilet, plumbing, water heater;

submersible well pump, pipes for water, and faucets;

electrical cables, circuit breakers, lamps, sockets, switches;

white water-based paint and enamel for floors;

boards, cement, and other building materials.

Volunteer help:

You can help dig holes for water pipes and bathroom installation, dismantle the shed near the house, paint floors and walls, install electricity, and other tasks. Accommodation will be available in the house itself.

We will be grateful for media support and reposts.
