For over five years, together with you, we have been supporting Mykhailyk and rejoicing at his every success. During this time, he has come a long way: from small, barely noticeable steps to major achievements that seemed unattainable a few years ago. One of them is studying at a regular school.
Now Mykhailyk is already 8 years old. This year, he successfully completed his first grade under the inclusive program. For a boy with organic central nervous system damage, this is a significant step forward and the result of years of hard work by Mykhailyk himself, his family, and specialists. He enjoyed attending classes, tried to communicate with his classmates, and music brought him the greatest delight and positive emotions.
Significant changes are also noticeable in the social sphere. Mykhailyk has become more active in interacting with other children and shows interest in joint games. He has developed a particularly warm relationship with his younger sister — he eagerly spends time with her, plays, runs around, and takes care of her.
The parents' biggest dream is to hear Mykhailyk speak, so they can understand his desires and anxieties. Unfortunately, speech itself remains one of the greatest challenges for the boy. That is why communication development is one of the most important directions of his rehabilitation.
At the end of August, another rehabilitation course and a series of examinations costing 35,400 hryvnias (approximately 870 USD) await Mykhailyk. It is thanks to such classes that he continues to develop his speech, communication skills, and independence. Your every support helps Mykhailyk move forward and win new victories.
