Have you ever been to a summer camp for children? Do you remember huge chambers for 10 people, educators and counselors who were watching you 24/7? One big dining room for all the children. Your unit consists of friends with whom you spend all your nights and days, playing and communicating 24/7, without any parental care. Children can spend a month there, or even the whole summer… Most children enjoy going to the summer camps, some do not, but it was always nice to have a home to return to.
You can imagine how difficult it is for Andrew, who has been in a ‘camp’ all his life, without a home of his own.
You can meet the children of his personality type: reserved, easygoing and cheerful. These children are respected by their peers of the same age, and the youngest are happy to play with them and are always willing to listen and respect their opinion. The adults can always trust and rely on them…
That’s the kind of a young man Andrew is: lively, smart, reliable, thrifty and generous. He likes soccer, tennis and computer games. Andrew is respected by his classmates, and the younger children want to be like him! The educators rely on him as their assistant…
When talking to Andrew one can feel confident that this guy will never get lost in life. But Andrew does need a good direction and advice in his life, as well as any other child does. And the most important is that he needs family love… That would help Andrew to cope with all the difficulties that life brings! Will you help him?
