Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to allocate 20 mln UAH for development of scientific and applied medical center of children’s cardiology and cardiosurgery in 2007.

Prime Minister Victor Yanukovych told journalists after the opening ceremony of a building of the Okhmadet scientific and applied medical center of children’s cardiology and cardiosurgery.

The Premier underlined that means will be allocated to open the center’s departments in all regions of Ukraine.

Yanukovych also noted that reformation of the health system is one of the priority reforms of the Cabinet, the President and the Verkhovna Rada.

“We must make the system work for patients, so that patients can feel the health system is improving,” Yanukovych stated.
