A Child Needs A Family: Maria P., born in 2001

November 8, 2011, 14:40 7151 Author: Victoria Mochalova, translated by Daria Sukach www.deti.zp.ua Masha is 18 years old now

Everyone in the orphanage is sure that the cartoon directors made this story about their Masha. It could be! At least Masha’s cute smile takes everyone’s breath away.

Masha is the child who brightens everything up and fills everyone with joy. This girl is very smart and deft. It seems that Masha can be in many different places at the same time. Her fantasy has no limits when it comes to new games and childish pranks. However, this girl is very obedient and industrious. She likes helping out and doing different chores.

Masha is strong and athletic-looking. She is keen on playing football and she is also fond of dancing. And she’s the best jumper among her friends!

If you are interested in adopting Maria, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56. Request the Profile Number of Maria accordingly to the orphan list #0055270.

Other children who dream of finding a family

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
