Hospitable Zaporizhzhia in Action!

November 22, 2014, 19:00 2062 Author: Albert Pavlov, translated by Daria Sukach deti.zp.ua We are grateful to everyone who is supporting displaced families from Lugansk and Donetsk. The families still need your help with food, washing agents, medicine, clothes and shoes

You can occasionally hear some unpleasant remarks about people who have moved to Zaporizhzhia from Donetsk and Lugansk, but fortunately most people are kind and hospitable. Some from our city have welcomed displaced people into their homes, and some always support them with food, clothes and medicine

Since June 2014 the office of Happy Child has seen many people who bring humanitarian aid for people who fled the war. The Amrita Company has recently delivered the foundation a big number of washing agents, shampoos, toothpastes etc. These parcels are destined for the group of displaced people who are staying at the “Rekhovof” Christian camp in Velikiy Lug district of Zaporizhzhzia.

People are deeply thankful for the wonderful support!

Dear friends,

Your kind support of displaced people from the war-zones in Ukraine is still greatly appreciated. The families who had to flee the war really need food, washing agents, medicine, clothes and shoes.

You can personally deliver your parcels to our office (Zaporizhzhia, Gryaznova Street, 4, apartment 36 from 10-18 during the week) or contact the voluntary center +38 (061) 707-03-50, www.vostokhelp.org, or get in touch with the “Rekhovof” camp coordinator Elena +38 050 788 96 44 .

The “Rekhovof” camp for displaced families also needs your financial support in equipping the shower cabin.
