From birth, Kira developed rather slowly, and at one and a half years old, she showed signs of epileptic activity. After numerous examinations and consultations, doctors diagnosed her with neurodevelopmental disorders, probably of genetic origin, as well as autism spectrum disorders.

Kira is now four years old. She likes swimming in the pool and jumping on the trampoline, but she does not feel well at loud events. In terms of physical development, Kira has caught up with her peers, but she has a delay in psycho-linguistic development. She speaks very little, partially understands spoken language, and only occasionally responds to her name. Kira follows simple household requests and prohibitions as she wishes, but if she feels pressured, she shows aggression towards herself and others.

Kira Karhiieva

Since birth, Kira has been working constantly with a speech therapist, a speech pathologist, a special education teacher, and a rehabilitation specialist. She is learning self-care skills and how to follow others' requests. She tries to concentrate and control her emotions. Yes, it is a difficult path, but her parents are already seeing positive changes in her behavior. Kira needs ongoing classes, so we aim to pay for a rehabilitation course worth 27,100 hryvnias (approximately 690 USD). This will be enough for two months. Please support Kira so that she has the opportunity to continue developing.
