An unforgettable trip to Ivano-Frankivsk

Together with our friends from the public sector, we organized an unforgettable autumn getaway to Ivano-Frankivsk and the Carpathians for a group of children! Our travelers were ten schoolchildren from the occupied territories, who have been living in Zaporizhzhia as internally displaced persons for quite some time.

Ivano-Frankivsk welcomed the kids with warm, sunny weather. They explored the city, visited parks and a lake, and even watched a movie at the local cinema. From there, it was off to the mountains and the beautiful Bukovel. The children hiked, wandered through vibrant autumn forests, picked mushrooms, and soaked in the peace and quiet of nature. The charming town of Yaremche was another highlight of the trip, with its picturesque autumn landscapes and the stunning Probiy waterfall. Every day was packed with activities, and while the kids returned late each night tired, they were full of happiness and unforgettable memories!

With your support, we were able to cover the cost of train tickets, accommodation, and activities for the ten children, spending $570 USD in total. Thank you to everyone who made it possible to give these kids a break from the realities of frontline Zaporizhzhia, immerse them in a whole new world, and gift them moments of peace and joy!
