Despite enemy shelling and power outages, we continue our work to ensure that as many children as possible receive assistance. Here is a report on the good deeds we accomplished together over the three autumn months.
The total amount of support reached nearly 39,400 US dollars. Specifically, 20,600 US dollars was spent through the international charity organization Maya's Hope.
In September, we focused on providing hearing aids. We purchased hearing aids for three children—Ivan, Sasha, and Maria—for a total of 5,000 US dollars. Thanks to these modern devices, they now have more opportunities for communication and development. Additionally, we funded rehabilitation courses for Lev and Myron, and we bought a specialized desk for Margarita.
In October, we funded two urgent surgeries. With little time to collect the necessary funds, we succeeded thanks to your help and agreements with clinics to delay payments. For Darina, we purchased spinal implants costing 6,550 US dollars for her surgery. For Alexei, we funded an operation to install a titanium plate to temporarily block the growth zone of his healthy leg. Both Alexei and Darina are now on the road to recovery.
In November, we received numerous requests for medicine for critically ill children. For six-year-old Oleg, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, we purchased a battery-operated aspirator. For Aliona, diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, we repaired her existing aspirator. For Viktoria and Hlib, we replenished the supply of test strips for home blood monitoring.
Throughout the autumn months, we purchased medications, special nutrition, medical equipment, and diapers for children with developmental disabilities, and we helped cover examination costs. We also supported children's hospitals and shelters for internally displaced persons. All these good deeds would have been impossible without your support. We sincerely thank every donor! Let’s continue making important contributions together!
