When Help Arrives on Time

When help arrives on time

A month ago, we told you about Ruslan Belov, who was involved in a serious road accident. To perform the surgery, the boy needed special medical materials — a leg rod and a jaw plate. The total cost amounted to 30,000 UAH. Thanks to your donations, we quickly purchased everything required, and the doctors were able to perform the surgery on time.

Ruslan’s mother writes: “My son faces a long rehabilitation after the accident. But the most important thing is that thanks to your foundation, we received all the necessary plates for the surgery. Without this step, it would have been impossible to move forward. I am endlessly grateful for your support and help — it gave my son a real chance for recovery.”

Now Ruslan is already at home and gradually getting better. Because of the heavy cast, it is difficult for him to stand up on his own, so he waits for his father to return from work to stand and move a little together using crutches.

Ruslan’s story once again reminds us how difficult it is for families to overcome sudden hardships alone. During the war, when most families have no savings, finding tens of thousands of hryvnias urgently for treatment is nearly impossible. That is why our joint support is so important — it allows us to provide timely help to those who need it most.

We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to helping Ruslan. Together, we were able to give him a chance for a full recovery.

Without our support, six-year-old Kira Kargieva will not be able to continue essential rehabilitation and corrective therapy sessions. Please help us raise funds for treatment and development of the girl!
