After a long-term treatment in a local hospital little Maxim was sent to the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology named after A.A. Shalimov.

Last September Maxim had his examination - took clinical and biochemical blood tests, ultrasonography, echocardiography, electrocardiography and Doppler of the portal system.

It’s unbelievable how many diagnosed this little child has got: Biliary atresia, type 3. State after Kasai procedure. Complication: ascending cholangitis, recurrent throughout. Chronic cholestatic hepatitis. Anemia of mixed origin, type III.

Maxim’s only chance for life is liver transplant with his mom as his liver donor. However, Maxim’s mom has some health issues, so she is recommended to take a course of treatment.

The child is constantly facing dreadful symptoms of his disease. Maxim has recently left the hospital where he had his treatment. The child is not gaining weight, running fever and has low blood results. Maxim needs expensive drugs to keep his life. There is a sample list of medications and materials needed for a liver transplant from a living donor, post-surgical condition and possible complications.

Maxim’s life costs 40,000 US dollars – which is a huge amount of money for his mom. We really hope your kind assistance will bring Maxim back to life. Your donation can really save this little boy’s life.
