The child found a family: Galina B., born in 2005

June 19, 2016, 21:45 6383 Author: Nikolay Kolodyazhny, translated by Andrei Vernon www.deti.zp.ua Galya has found new loving parents. We are sincerely happy for her!

Galya is currently living in an orphanage with her brother Dima. She is in seventh grade in a special program. Galya is very diligent in her studies. She loves to read teenage encyclopedias and enjoys taking care of her appearance. And of course all girls at her age dream about beautiful clothing. She is a very active, lively, affectionate and energetic person. She gets along well with other children and has lots of friends to play hide and seek with and ride bikes.

After school she plans on studying to become a hairdresser. Galya also looks to the future and wants to have a family full of peace, love and care. She is also very fond of her brother Dima (b. 2001). He is modest, but good-natured and kind. Galya dreams about going back to the sea with her family – brother and new parents so they can enjoy the summer sun and travel together.

If you have been thinking about adopting this child or other children, please, read the memo to potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; or you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhye State Administration by telephones (061) 239-02-51 or (061) 239-01-56 and make sure to provide them with Galina‘s file number – 9961959.

Other children who dream of finding a family

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
