Five-year-old Polina is growing at her own special pace, gradually mastering basic developmental skills. She learned to sit and take her first steps later than other children and still does not speak. The reason is a rare genetic mutation that affects brain development, speech, coordination, and learning ability.

Polina regularly attends corrective therapy sessions. We also contributed and paid for one of her courses in October last year. Thanks to these sessions, there are already noticeable results: Polina has learned to use scissors and make her first drawings — first lines, and now even small circles. She has started jumping — a skill that was previously unavailable to her. There is also progress in daily life: Polina confidently holds a spoon, can stir food, and is trying to dress herself independently.

Due to her developmental особеності, Polina cannot attend kindergarten — it is difficult for her to stay indoors for long periods and to be among many people. Instead, individual 30-minute sessions suit her well and bring positive results.

To ensure that this progress does not stop, Polina needs continuous therapy — every day, over a long period of time. All acquired skills require reinforcement, and only systematic rehabilitation gives her a chance to become more independent.

We are now opening a fundraiser for the next rehabilitation course costing 23,550 UAH (approximately 550 US dollars). We kindly ask you to support Polina and help her continue this important journey.
