The "Happy Home" Project continues the program of the Zaporizhzhia charitable foundation "Happy Child" aimed at creating and supporting family-type orphanages (FTOs), foster families (FFs), and guardianship families.
From 2011 to 2022, we reconstructed or built from scratch 6 houses for Family-type Home and Foster Family in Zaporizhzhia region. Unfortunately, since February 2022, all of them have remained under occupation. One of the houses in the village of Ukrayinka was destroyed, some families moved abroad or to territories controlled by Ukraine, and some still remain under occupation.
Since 2023, we have been assisting Liliya Tymofieieva's Family-type Home, where 10 children left without parental care live. The family evacuated from Zaporizhzhia region and now resides in Cherkasy region. We helped equip the house with furniture, charging stations, and a generator with a powerful boiler. We also assist the Sheldko guardianship family, who relocated from Mykhailivka, Zaporizhzhia region, to Cherkasy.
Our tasks:
- supporting families to ensure the full development of children (educational and tourist trips, specialist visits, purchase of special footwear);
- assisting with children's medical care, paying for dentist visits;
- providing support in crisis situations related to the war (power outages, etc.);
- purchasing necessary equipment.
Thanks to your donations, we will be able to continue supporting the above-mentioned families and also expand the project to other families in Zaporizhzhia and other regions.
