Six-year-old Zakhar has an organic mental disorder of the autism spectrum. Outwardly, he is no different from his peers, but due to the peculiarities of his brain function, he lives in his own little world.
Zakhar is not interested in toys, sweets, fun celebrations, or communicating with other children. It is difficult for him to feel his own body, understand spoken language, respond to his name, and express emotions. Any changes in his surroundings cause fear and anxiety in the boy. Even the simplest skills that other children master naturally take years for Zakhar to acquire.
Despite all the hardships, he moves forward every day with small steps. His perseverance, sincerity, and spontaneity inspire his family not to give up, and every new achievement becomes a major victory for the whole family.
To help Zakhar understand the world around him better, he needs regular sessions with specialists. The family is doing everything possible for their son’s development, but long-term rehabilitation requires significant funds, and managing such expenses on their own is extremely difficult.
Today, Zakhar needs our support. Every contribution is an opportunity to continue corrective sessions, develop essential skills, and bring the boy closer to new achievements. Please support Zakhar and help him take another step toward this world.
The cost of a course of corrective sessions for Zakhar is 12,000 hryvnias (approximately 300 USD).
