Denis, who is currently living at Zaporozhye regional shelter, loves dancing, especially modern dancing and break dancing. Also he enjoys gymnastics and dreams about a career in sports. At school, he likes Information science. He appreciates a kind attitude and longs to be around good people. Famous historical figures like Bogdan Khmelnitsky inspire him.

Denis loved his grandparents very much, but they passed away. His grandfather was a Ukrainian artist, and a very generous person – who painted pictures and gave them to all who liked his arts. He had a big influence on Denis whom he taught painting and drawing; from an early age, his Papa’s lessons in the arts gave Denis a sense of beauty of nature and an interest in history and traditions of his native land. Papa taught Denis to be sensitive to other people needs and attentive to his surroundings.

In addition, Denis fancies poetry, which is very rare among lively and active children like him. He has a dream that he will leave the shelter soon for a new home with loving family, instead of being confined to the bordering school. For a loving family home, perhaps, yours…
