There are no exact figures about children-orphans emigrated abroad, as declared Yuri Pavlenko, Minister for Family, Youth and Sport Affairs, speaking in Cabinet.

“We have a problem with registration of such children. I can say approximately, that the number is not big against the total number of homeless children in Ukraine. It makes not more than 10% of total number,” said he, Forum’s correspondent reported.

Pavlenko also declares that his Ministry works with many international organizations. “First of all, it is UNISEF. Executive committee of the Ministry has approved five-year program, and we signed plan for this year a month ago. The program provides that the UN will allocate ten million dollars for development,” noted the Minister and added that many international public organizations addressed the Ministry with propositions to increase their financial help for Ukraine.
