Viktoriia Stepura

Fourteen-year-old Viktoria from Zaporizhzhia is a ninth-grade student. However, due to her health condition, she is forced to continue her education remotely, as staying in shelters is contraindicated for her. For almost six years, she has been battling her primary diagnosis—chronic bronchitis. Her family has tried various methods to alleviate Viktoria's condition, but the treatment has not yet produced sufficient results.

Additionally, she has to manage other illnesses, including bilateral bronchiectasis, cystic sinusitis, stomach ulcers, and more. Currently, due to insufficient progress in treatment, doctors suspect the presence of a new diagnosis. To confirm it, further genetic testing is required, which the family cannot afford.

Despite all the challenges, Viktoria remains an active and talented girl. She loves drawing, enjoys dancing, and is passionate about aerial gymnastics. Unfortunately, she has had to put these hobbies aside for now, as her illness demands much of her strength and time.

Immediately after Viktoria's mother reached out, we quickly provided an inhaler and medical supplies worth nearly 9,000 UAH (approximately 220 USD) to start the treatment as soon as possible. Next, we aim to raise an additional 20,000 UAH (approximately 490 USD) to cover the cost of genetic testing and purchase medical supplies for one month.
