We are sharing news about Tymofii.

The seventeen-year-old boy has been living for many years with a serious diagnosis — Crohn’s disease. This is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that requires constant monitoring and complex treatment. Due to flare-ups and complications, Tymofii was prescribed modern therapy with the medicine “Entyvio”, and we opened a fundraiser for one vial of the drug.

Thanks to your support, we managed to raise the needed 49,500 hryvnias (approximately 1,170 US dollars) and purchase the medicine. Recently, Tymofii received the second administration of the drug — an intravenous infusion — and fortunately, everything went well.

An important stage lies ahead. Next time, Tymofii will undergo a comprehensive examination that will show how his body is responding to the therapy and whether remission can be achieved. These results will determine how effective the chosen treatment is.

A significant part of the donations came from the Ukrainian community in the Spanish province of Almeria — our good friends who have helped children overcome difficulties more than once. Our sincere thanks to you, friends, for such important support!
