In April 2022, during evacuation from the occupied territory, the Romanenko family came under shelling. After this traumatic experience, the health conditions of the three younger children — Oleksandra, Nina, and Anatolii — worsened. Since then, the children require constant medical supervision, regular examinations, and treatment.
Seventeen-year-old Oleksandra has problems with her nervous system. Weakness, anxiety, and headaches have become constant companions in her life. She also experiences swelling in her hands, and the diagnosis of osteochondrosis remains uncertain. To confirm or rule it out, an MRI scan is required. In her free time, Oleksandra enjoys painting by numbers, which helps her calm down.
Anatolii and Nina are twins, both fourteen years old. The children have vision impairments and spinal problems. In addition, Anatolii has a diagnosed heart rhythm disorder, while his sister suffers from frequent headaches. Despite their illnesses, the children have hobbies: Anatolii practices on pull-up bars at home, and Nina enjoys drawing and dreams of enrolling in an art school.
We have already supported the children several times by purchasing medicines and paying for examinations. Now the parents are asking for help to cover the cost of an MRI scan for Oleksandra, which is 9,550 UAH (approximately 225 US dollars), and to purchase medications for the twins totaling about 5,000 UAH (approximately 120 US dollars).
This large family from Molochansk is facing extremely difficult circumstances: they have lost their home, and both the children and their mother are ill. Please support the family — give them hope!
