Together with the Ukrainians of North Carolina helped children's hospitals

We continue to talk about incredible people from different parts of the world who prove every day: there are no distances and borders for good deeds!

Back in 2004, the Ukrainian community of the state of North Carolina united to preserve Ukrainian traditions, history and language. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia into our country, the educational activities of the organization turned into a powerful movement of support for Ukraine. With constant rallies and charity events to collect humanitarian aid. And in October last year, we received $5,000 in aid from North Carolinians, which we turned into good causes.

During November, we made several important purchases for Zaporozhye Regional Children's Hospital. They spent 2 708 $ on medicine for two departments, and another 1 300 $ were purchased humidification chamber for incubators for newborns "Atom". In December, they bought another package of the drug "Diferelin" for a little girl, who has been living in the hospital for a year due to illness. 142 $ were spent on this. 487 $ went to install the entrance door to the children's department of the anti-tuberculosis dispensary. And in January, the surgical department received from us four sets of FLOCARE P.E.G. for the installation of a gastrostomy worth 339 $.

Behind these numbers and slightly incomprehensible names are children who, thanks to our joint help, received timely treatment. Thank you very much, dear Ukrainians of North Carolina! You are incredibly far, but very close! We even feel the touch of your hand — a friendly helping hand!
