There should be a paragraph about the unpleasantness of life in front-line Zaporizhzhia. But everyone already understands what it is about. So let's not remind you about our everyday negativity one more time.
Taking care of children's health, we decided to "reboot" 25 teenagers in the Carpathians. These are children from the Melitopol community who now live in Zaporizhzhia and are waiting for the release of their home. We are going on a hike in two groups. The first one starts already on July 23.
For a comfortable rest in the mountains, every tourist needs a comfortable backpack, a warm sleeping bag and a place in a tent. In peacetime, we had all the necessary equipment, because we repeatedly took the children to the mountains. But part of the tourist property remained in the Happy Child ecovillage, which is now under occupation. Currently we only have tents and nine sleeping bags, everything else need to buy. Funds for travel, food and guide services are also required.
Friends, we are asking you for help in financing our ambitious idea. To restore the equipment, we need $ 1577 - this is an investment that will work for many more years. And about $ 1496 for the hikes themselves. These funds will be used for food and travel for 25 teenagers and accompanying adults. That is, the price of almost a week's rest for one child is $ 60.
Mountains inspire. Mountains are tested. Mountains heal and reboot. This is exactly what our children, who have been experiencing the effects of war for more than a year, really need. Help us fill young tourists with crazy positive impressions that will displace sadness and tension for a long time.
