Our Goal is Only a Heartbeat Away!

November 4, 2013, 12:00 2347 Author: Maria Semashkina, translated by Daria Sukach www.deti.zp.ua The construction works on the second family-type “Happy Home” in Kalinovka have been actively proceeding and we look forward to opening the doors of a new sweet home for little orphans later this year!

The construction works on the second family-type adaptation group home for little orphans in Kalinovka have been successfully proceeding for the last two months thanks to our kind donors from different corners of the world.

We’re glad to tell you that the windows and doors installation is now completed. The front part of the future Happy Home has been insulated, the floors have been laid and the walls are prepared for further reconstruction. The sewage system is still in progress but it is to be done this month. According to the current agreement we will pay 46,118 hryvnyas (5,770 US dollars) for these works. Finishing works require 153,204 hryvnyas (19,167 US dollars). Assembly operations and fire alarm need a further 28,757 hryvnyas (3,598 US dollars).

We really hope that with your kind support the girls with special needs will be able to move to their new sweet Happy Home this year, just like their mates did two years ago.

Thank you for helping and believing in these special children!

Without our support, fifteen-year-old Maksym Didenko will not be able to continue his vital rehabilitation and corrective classes. Please help raise funds for the boy’s treatment and development!
