On this day, an event named “Breathe freely” was held in the State educational institution "Melitopol center of vocational education". It was organized by the parents of children diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. This event was to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis, and was organised by Olga Shurhanova. Also in attendance were Sergey Maslov (Head of Health Melitopol, Zaporizhzhya), Olga Volk-Sobina (representative of the charity foundation "Happy Child"), Vasko Svetlana (doctor in Melitopol city center mixed type of rehabilitation for the disabled and handicapped children), as well as family, caregivers and close friends of girls with cystic fibrosis – Woodpeckers Anna, Rita Shkurenkovoyi Nesterenko Pelagia.

Deputy director of educational work Dorokhova Lesia M. opened this inspirational day with warm words of praise for students of the institution who are volunteering and helping others. The students of the institution have produced videos and poems. The dandelion was chosen as the symbol for this event- a flower that is so light, it may burst apart with even a light breath of wind. Pupils of the centre, Basystyuk Alina Sukonko Allen, Gorova Tatiana Karina, Molochkovych Anastasia prepared a dance with ribbons and a little angel statuette, that touched all the audience with it’s warm-heartedness.

Basystyuk Alina, Sukonko Helena, Tatiana Gorova performed another dance, "Turn thee"! Participants remembered those who, unfortunately, are no longer with us: Victoria Butenko, Shokun Snezana, Korchev Paul Dovhopyatu Lily, Kaleniuk Eugene, Lukashov Arina, among others. Finally, the charming sound of the violin performed by Daniil Borisenko, that complimented vocals Shevchenko Catherine, “could awake the angels” – the sincere words of the director of the institution, Vyacheslav Eremenko.
