From occupied Lyubimivka to Germany

Natalya and Bohdan Kucheruk and their 8 children, after being evacuated from the Vasyliv district of the Zaporizhzhya region, ended up in Germany, in the land of Saxony. Thanks to the international fund SOS Kinderdorf (SOS Children's Village), children and their parents are now provided with comfortable housing, they were helped with paperwork and travel.

We will remind you that in just one year, many events happened in the life of this large family. In November 2021, they moved to Lyubimovka to a house created by the Happy Child Foundation. As soon as they managed to settle down little by little, the war began, shells fell very close to their house. The foundation continued to support the family, and the parents, as volunteers, helped deliver humanitarian aid and medicine to local families. At the end of July, the family managed to escape from the occupation (10 people in a 5-seater Lanos).

Many thanks to everyone who helped the family during the year!

It is good that now the family is safe and provided with the necessary things. Children gain experience of living abroad. But at home is better than away. We hope that this family and millions of other refugees will be able to return home after Zaporizhzhia Oblast is freed from the occupiers.

Without proper treatment, 17-year-old Tymofii Shatulskyi cannot control his serious illness.
Please, help raise funds for life-saving medication!
