Mykhailyk is 8 years old. He has organic central nervous system damage and requires constant rehabilitation. It is very important for the boy to work with specialists regularly, because this is how he gradually masters new skills and consolidates the ones he has already acquired.

After the beginning of the full-scale war, the family was forced to leave occupied Berdiansk and move to Zaporizhzhia. Despite all the hardships, the parents did not stop fighting for their son’s development and continued his rehabilitation.

Over the past few years, Mykhailyk has achieved significant progress. He has become more attentive and communicative, learned to focus longer during sessions, and performs tasks better. The boy does puzzles, works with lacing, collects small objects, helps his mother carry a small bag, and cleans up his dishes after eating.

Attending school has become another major achievement. Mykhailyk successfully completed his first grade under the inclusive program, adapted well to the school environment, and enjoys attending classes. He has a special interest in music.

Positive changes have also occurred in communication. The boy interacts more actively with other children, takes an interest in joint games, and enjoys spending time with his younger sister.

Despite the progress achieved, Mykhailyk still needs help with speech development and communication. This area remains one of the main goals of his ongoing rehabilitation.
