Dmytryk was born during an emergency cesarean section. Due to the entanglement of the umbilical cord, the baby suffered oxygen starvation, leading to later nervous system disorders.

Dimi was diagnosed with cerebral palsy in the third month of life. Since then, the boy's long recovery began: massages, physical therapy, wearing an orthosis on his right arm to prevent distortion. Thanks to rehabilitation measures, Dmytryk learned to sit at ten months old and to walk with support at two years old.

Now Dmytryk is twelve. He is quite an independent boy, but the spasticity of the right part of the body limits his life. Dmytro had to become a "shulga" due to a spasmodic right hand. And the right leg does not always obey, because of which the boy often falls and injures the ligaments. Sometimes he is very sad that he cannot do wrestling or football.

Dmytro needs physical therapy like oxygen. Therefore, he regularly visits various rehabilitation centers. It helps to normalize muscle tone. His back straightens, his gait becomes more even, and the fingers on his right hand do not try to hide in a fist for a while. After classes, the boy becomes more active and has a good mood.

Together with you, we already helped Dmytryk last year. However, the boy needs rehabilitation courses regularly because after some time stiffness and spasticity return. The next treatment course is scheduled for the end of April, and its cost is 27,240 hryvnias (715 US dollars). Dmytryk is waiting for our help!
