Kateryna Yushchenko met with orphans that had recently come back from Turkey. Sponsored by the Trade-Turk Pachah Company, they spent one week there.
“This is a wonderful example for other companies. I believe this Turkish experience will be supported and spread throughout the world,” she said.
In his turn, Khaidar Aslan, TTP Director-General, said, “As a citizen of Turkey, I want to urge my colleagues to help Ukrainian kids. The greatest happiness is to know you care for the future of children.”
He added that his company planned to help four hundred kids every year. Mr. Aslan encouraged more than one hundred Turkish companies working in Ukraine to take part in this long-term project to rehabilitate Ukrainian orphans.
This has been the first group of Ukrainian children since the Ukraine 3000 Foundation and the TTP Company signed an agreement on cooperation on November 19.
Sharing their impressions about the journey with Mrs. Yuschhenko, the children said their Turkish hosts had been very hospitable. They traveled to Turkey by charter plane. There, they lived in best hotels and could enjoy entertaining and cultural programs.
