Zakhar loves animals very much, especially his little pet Chak. He always tries to spend his free time with him and friends. He also dreams of flying and long-distance travel, but so far he rides a scooter or a bicycle. So many plans for the life of the guy! But, unfortunately, due to health problems, dreams are still waiting to be realized.

For the first time, the foundation supported Zakhar's family when he was five years old. We helped pay for an MRI of the guy's brain. Then an increase in the size of the vessels in the left temporal lobe was found. Since then, the guy has been registered with a neurologist and periodically undergoes an MRI examination of the head and neck.

In 2018, Zakhar fell ill with infectious mononucleosis. The temperature rose, the lymph nodes increased. CT revealed an enlarged lymph node in the mediastinum and changes in the liver. Subsequently, the diagnosis of Lymphadenopathy was added. The fund extended the support of the guy, periodically paying for the examination.

2022 has been a particularly difficult year for the family. Due to russian aggression, many Ukrainians have problems with work. The factory where Zachar's mother worked temporarily stopped its work. In addition, another CT examination again showed an increase in the lymph node in the mediastinum. And because of the lowered immunity, nails began to crumble and teeth fell out. Again a huge expense for the family. And again, help from the fund was simply needed.

At the beginning of 2023, another CT examination showed a decrease in the size of the lymph node by 2 mm. Blood counts also improved. For the first time in a long time, the boy's mother quietly rejoiced at the results. But it's too early to relax. New control examinations and unrest are coming.

Zakhar is homeschooled due to low immunity. But knowledge is given to him easily, so there is still time for his favorite activities. The guy enjoys attending a music school and playing the guitar. In March of this year, his first concert took place, and he is very proud of it!

Every three months, Zakhar should undergo a chest, abdominal and pelvic examination. It is also necessary to monitor blood counts. According to the results of examinations, therapeutic or maintenance therapy is prescribed.
