Report on donations and expenses
Six-year-old Yaroslav is an active and curious boy. He enjoys jumping on a trampoline, swimming in the pool, and playing with musical toys. Yarik loves communicating with other children, although he does not speak yet. Sometimes he responds to his name and partially understands spoken language addressed to him.
From the first months of life, Yaroslav’s development was slower than that of his peers. He began to hold his head only at eight months and started walking independently only at three years old.
At two years old, doctors diagnosed Yaroslav with congenital brain development anomalies. Since then, the boy has been continuously working with specialists — learning self-care skills, focusing attention, and regulating emotions. Due to muscle weakness, he developed acquired kyphosis, which requires additional physical therapy and rehabilitation.
For effective development, Yaroslav needs ongoing work with speech therapists, psychologists, physical rehabilitation specialists, and other professionals. This process must be almost uninterrupted.
Besides rehabilitation, the boy requires special enteral nutrition because, due to a poorly developed chewing reflex, he has weight deficiency. He also needs diapers as he has not yet mastered self-care skills.
Yaroslav’s family is doing everything possible to provide him with a decent childhood and development, but managing alone is very difficult. Support from caring people is Yaroslav’s only chance to get the necessary help.
Monthly need for nutrition and hygiene products is about 5,000 UAH (approximately 120 USD).
The cost of the rehabilitation course is 24,500 UAH (approximately 593 USD).
